David Plowden, an award winning photographer whose black & white photographs of small towns, cities, railroads, and bridges document the changing face of America, speaks about his work and his new book, Vanishing Point.
Plowden has published more than 20 books. His work has been exhibited in museums and galleries across the country and is in the permanent collection of many museums including the Smithsonian Institution. His entire archive will go into the Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library at Yale University.
A book signing follows.
